Our team provide design engineering services for a variety of aerospace applications. The team have provided solutions for UAV composite propellers, the F-35 (Joint Strike Fighter) project and reverse engineering projects.
We have also provided bespoke optimisation solutions for a client carrying out equipment testing and validation on their airframes for the MOD and private customers. We are specialists in carbon composites and rapid manufacture design solutions.
One project involved designing and building a large-scale replica UAV of the Convair Sea Dart. Our design engineers used original photos and drawings to ensure the airframe geometry, surface data and structural detail were correctly designed as per the original aircraft. The design drawings were then used to produce the parts of the aircraft.
Another aerospace project involved the restoration of the G-AVDF Beagle Pup. Our team used 3D scan data to reverse engineer the wing spars for the Beagle Pup. The team were able to deliver 2D manufacturing drawings for LAA approval.
